CUPRA for Business Charging Offer - Terms and Conditions

Home EV charger (fully funded) or CUPRA Charging voucher incentive

  1. Fleet customers who order and take delivery of a new CUPRA Born or CUPRA Tavascan from a participating CUPRA Retailer between 03rd April 2024 and 30th June 2025 (inclusive) can receive either:
    • 7kW Ohme Home Pro home EV charger (5m tethered cable) with standard installation; or
    • 7kW Ohme ePod home EV charger (untethered) with standard installation; or
    • A CUPRA Charging voucher code with £700 credit (app download, account creation, subscription, tariff selection & payment details required to activate the credit, credit valid for 3 years and cannot be extended).
  2. The incentives are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. A fleet customer is entitled to receive one incentive only, and is not entitled to receive all of these incentives and/or any combination of them, or both home EV chargers.
  3. Fleet customers (order types 03, 09 and 11 only) are eligible for this offer. The definition of fleet customers are individuals whose vehicles have been ordered on behalf of a fleet operator using an active end user Fleet Sales Support RFO agreement or Public Sector RFO agreement, including Crown Commercial Services. Orders placed through a Third party (Broker) Bodyshop or Rental agreement are excluded as well as centrally negotiated volume agreements. This offer is not available for customers who purchase a vehicle on Contract Hire with Volkswagen Financial Services.
  4. The individual redeeming the offer on behalf of the fleet operator must:
    • be a UK resident, aged 18+;
    • be an employee or officer of the fleet operator and have the permission of the fleet operator to redeem the incentive on behalf of the fleet operator;
    • comply with all applicable policies of the fleet operator (including anti-bribery) and ensure that they will be entitled to redeem the incentive on behalf of the fleet operator;
    • notify CUPRA immediately if they are not permitted to participate by the fleet operator or otherwise;
    • ensure that the fleet operator has agreed to be responsible for any tax liabilities which may arise as a result of the receipt of the incentive.
  5. To receive the Ohme home EV charger, you must be (a) a homeowner or (b) a renter with the landlord's permission, and in each case have off-street parking at the property. You must be a full time resident at the address where the home EV charger is installed.
  6. Please request the offer during the ordering process and the participating CUPRA Retailer will take the steps below, depending on the incentive selected by the fleet customer:  
    • if the fleet customer elects to receive either a 7kW Ohme Home Pro home EV charger (5m tethered cable) with standard installation or 7kW Ohme ePod home EV charger (untethered) with standard installation: the participating CUPRA Retailer will place an order with Ohme UK at the time of ordering your qualifying vehicle; or
    • if the fleet customer elects to receive a CUPRA Charging voucher with £700 credit: the participating CUPRA Retailer will provide the fleet customer with contact details for the Customer Service Centre [0800 049 7106] alongside details of the VIN number of your qualifying vehicle. The fleet customer will need to contact the Customer Service Centre directly to receive the voucher details and instructions on how to activate the voucher.
  7. The offer is not available retrospectively. Please speak to your CUPRA Retailer for more information.
  8. Offer is subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time.
  9. CUPRA will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature, howsoever caused, sustained in any way by any participant in this offer. However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall have the effect of excluding or restricting liability for personal injury or death caused by proved negligence of the Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited nor any other liability which it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict.
  10. Any expenses incurred by the fleet operator and/or the fleet customer in the general use and/or enjoyment of and/or any tax liability arising from receipt of the incentive are the sole responsibility of the fleet operator and/or the fleet customer.

Ohme home EV charger

Personal data

  1. If you elect to receive a 7kW Ohme Home Pro home EV charger (5m tethered cable) with standard installation or a 7kW Ohme ePod home EV charger (untethered) with standard installation, your personal data, including your name, postal address, email and telephone contact details, and including the make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN), order number and delivery date of the vehicle being supplied to you, will be shared with Ohme Operations UK Ltd (“Ohme UK”) to process this offer.
  2. In addition, that personal data, together with installation details and status of the selected Ohme home EV charger and any related information concerning your eligibility to receive this offer, will be disclosed by us and/or Ohme UK to CUPRA UK, a trading division of Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited in connection with the validation by CUPRA UK of your eligibility to receive this offer.
  3. For further details of how and why your personal data is processed, please refer to the CUPRA UK Privacy Notice, at CUPRA UK Privacy Notice. Please also refer to the privacy policy of Ohme UK at https://www.ohme-ev.com/privacy-policy for details of the processing undertaken by Ohme UK.

General

  1. The following terms apply to the Ohme home EV charger incentive:
    • the home EV charger is only available to fleet customers who do not select the CUPRA Charging voucher incentive;
    • Ohme UK's standard terms and conditions of sale shall apply in relation to all home EV charger(s) supplied under this offer. App download and compatible equipment required.  Not for commercial use.     • installation must take place within a month prior to vehicle delivery or up to three (3) months after delivery of the vehicle (the "Installation Period");
    • the home EV charger included in the offer is either a 7kW Ohme Home Pro (5m tethered cable) with standard installation only or 7kw Ohme ePod (untethered) with standard installation only. The availability of standard installation depends on various factors including the age and condition of the existing wiring at the property and the location of the nearest electricity point/meter.     • standard installation is subject to survey. You will have the option to choose between an untethered or 5m tethered cable unit;
    • the home EV charger must be ordered from Ohme UK via a participating CUPRA Retailer at the time of order of your new vehicle;
    • supply, installation and maintenance of the home EV charger will be subject to a separate contract between the fleet customer and Ohme UK. Neither Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited trading as CUPRA UK nor the CUPRA Retailer can accept any responsibility in connection with that contract and any fleet customer queries or claims must be directed to Ohme UK. Fleet customers will need to liaise directly with Ohme UK in connection with survey and installation;
    • any costs, for example additional accessories, late cancellation fees, aborted visits, physical home surveys, home EV charger upgrades (including to upgrade from a 5m tethered cable to 8m tethered cable), non-standard installation, installation outside the Installation Period, or additional installation works must be paid for by the fleet customer;
    • if the fleet customer rents their property, then they are responsible for obtaining the landlord's permission for the installation. All other permissions and consents are also the responsibility of the fleet customer;
    • the home EV charger is only available for installation at a residential address owned by the CUPRA UK fleet customer (or rented by the CUPRA UK fleet customer, with the landlord's permission) with off-street parking and electrical capacity sufficient to support the home EV charger (unless otherwise agreed specifically with CUPRA UK and Ohme UK);
    • home EV chargers are non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash or other alternative available under this offer. However, CUPRA UK reserves the right to include a different home EV charger and installation, of equivalent or greater value, within the offer;
    • if a qualifying vehicle order is cancelled after the installation of the home EV charger, then the fleet customer will be liable to pay to Ohme UK the fees paid by CUPRA UK and/or the CUPRA Retailer in connection with the home EV charger and standard installation. If the fleet customer cancels the qualifying order before the installation has taken place then they will no longer be entitled to a home EV charger with standard installation through this offer. This does not affect the fleet customers statutory rights;
    • for fleet customers who are eligible for the Government electric vehicle (EV) charge point grant (worth up to £350 – only available to homeowners who live in flats and consumers in rental accommodation), CUPRA UK will fund the remaining cost of the home charger with standard installation after the OZEV grant has been applied where the fleet customer is eligible for the offer and in compliance with these terms and conditions. Ohme UK will identify fleet customers who are eligible for the grant and will support them through the grant application process; and
    • for most fleet customers who are not eligible for the EV charge point grant, CUPRA UK will fund the whole amount payable for the home charger to the value of this offer.

CUPRA Charging voucher

  1. The following terms apply to the CUPRA Charging voucher incentive:
    • the CUPRA Charging voucher incentive is only available to fleet customers who do not select the Ohme home EV charger incentive;
    • the CUPRA Charging voucher may be redeemed on the fleet customers CUPRA Charging account to credit the fleet customer with £700 credit;
    • the fleet customer must have a CUPRA Charging account;
    • the CUPRA Charging voucher credit will be valid for three (3) years from the point of creation (regardless of when the fleet customer activates them in the CUPRA Charging account). Once expired, the CUPRA Charging voucher will be invalid and cannot be extended.  All unused credit will be lost upon expiry of the voucher;
    • the CUPRA Charging voucher is not replaceable if lost or stolen and no refund will be given for any unused credit;
    • to activate the CUPRA Charging voucher, the fleet customer must download the My CUPRA app, subscribe and select a tariff which will require payment details, then enter the voucher code. To be able to download the app, the fleet customer will need to have iOS 15.0 or newer or Android 8.0 or newer. The voucher code must be entered in the app before the charging session starts so that the voucher amount can be applied to that session;
    • any outstanding balance will be lost if the fleet customer closes the account after activating the CUPRA Charging voucher;
    • the credit will be associated to the fleet customer's specific vehicle and cannot be used to cover the cost of charging sessions for other vehicles. The fleet customer may be required to log in at some chargers to use the voucher;
    • as above, the fleet customer must select a tariff (which will require payment details) before activating the CUPRA Charging voucher. Each fleet customer will have the option to sign up to the following tariffs: Free (£0 p/m), Pure (£4.99 p/m), or Power (£13.99 p/m). The tariffs have different KwH rates for AC / DC & Ionity charging, please visit CUPRA Charging Service simplifying public charging | CUPRA UK (cupraofficial.co.uk) for more information on the different tariffs.  The voucher credit cannot be used towards the cost of the monthly tariffs.  The credit can only be used to cover the cost of charging and can be used for any tariff selected.  The credit remains valid even if the fleet customer switches to another tariff;
    • CUPRA Charging general terms and conditions apply;
    • the fleet customer will be liable for any costs over/above the amount pre-loaded onto the CUPRA Charging account;
    • the CUPRA Charging voucher is non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash or other alternative available under this offer. The CUPRA Charging voucher credit cannot be withdrawn and the fleet customer cannot recover any of the credit as cash;
    • if a qualifying vehicle order is cancelled after the voucher is activated and used, then the fleet customer will be liable to repay to CUPRA UK and/or the CUPRA Retailer an amount equal to the amount of credit used by the fleet customer. If a qualifying vehicle order is cancelled prior to activation, then the voucher and any credit will be forfeited. This does not affect fleet customer's statutory rights; and
