CUPRA Born VZ: the thrill of the ride
The CUPRA Born VZ, the new electric vehicle designed for Britain's rollercoaster roads put to the test against an actual rollercoaster.
Rollercoaster expert James Cox details the parallels between the CUPRA Born VZ and the ICON at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, highlighting how the Born VZ's responsive steering, specially tuned suspension and electrifying performance releases all sorts of feel-good factors, just like riding an actual rollercoaster.
CUPRA Born VZ dials up the advanced powertrain technology of the CUPRA Born and produces 326PS when using the e-boost function, this enables riders to reach 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds. Whilst the Born VZ delivers speed, it also provides drivers with maximum control through the use of the new DCC Sport suspension.
Whilst riders of the ICON can expect wraparound seats that provide comfort through intense g-force, passengers in the Born VZ can experience CUP bucket seats as standard and immersive technology including a Sennheiser premium sound system, augmented reality heads-up display and Smart Light technology, delivering thrills in a premium environment.

With a range of up to 340 miles in the all-electric 77KwH CUPRA Born, what better than a road trip around the UK to showcase its advanced tech, head-turning design and confident performance.
